Saving Our Summer Camp Clients Money

A lot of people think that when you hire a camp consultant you are going to spend a lot of money. While this may be true (you do spend money on ads and consulting), I’ve found that most of my clients do end up saving money in some way or another while working with Social Summer Camp.

Recently, I took on a new client who was running AdWords by himself. He hired us because he wanted to be more efficient with his spend and measure his results in a more specialized fashion. When we started to dig around in his account we realized that his AdWords were spending a lot of money on search terms that were NOT relevant to his business. In fact, while his keywords were OK, he had them set to broad match and they were delivering for all sorts of random terms.

I looked at just a two week period where he spent $280 and found that $146 of that was totally wasted spend and he was showing up for a lot of terms he did not want to show up for. And that was just from two weeks…he had been running his own AdWords for a few months at this point.screen-shot-2016-10-18-at-2-26-01-pm

While running your own AdWords can be great for some businesses, if you don’t have the time to do a full training and really learn the nuances of the program, it can be much cheaper in the long run to hire a consultant. The team at Social Summer Camp understands all of the levers that lead to increased performance using Google AdWords and our main goal is always to provide efficiencies that help save your summer camp money.
