Social Summer Camp is seeking a social media account manager. An Account Manager for Social Summer Camp will implement individual social media marketing plans for multiple clients. This includes a social media content and advertising strategy. This Account Manager will strengthen key client relationships with a focus on driving social media metrics, client satisfaction and innovation. This individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be highly motivated. This position is a full time, salaried position, but does not include benefits.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Curate social media content for Social Summer Camp clients
  • Schedule, post and monitor all published content
  • Develop new strategies for driving social media client metrics
  • Compile client reporting highlighting measurement results

Account Management:

  • Oversee client relationship with accounts you are assigned
  • Identify new opportunities and strategies across your accounts
  • Consult across client’s entire marketing landscape
  • Educate clients on best practices in social media marketing
  • Outline solutions based on clients KPI’s

Advertising:

  • Design, create and manage social media ad campaigns for both Facebook advertising and Google Adwords
  • Optimize social media ad campaigns daily
  • Analyze campaigns and translate data into recommendations and plans for revising campaigns

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years experience in social media marketing and advertising
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or communications
  • Ability to focus on both the creative and analytical side of marketing
  • Active social media user and familiarity with social media ad products
  • Well-versed in PPC strategies, techniques and concepts
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyze data and pull insights
  • Understanding of social media and advertising success metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience managing client relationships
  • Must be located in Austin, TX
